Hazel brings fresh energy and genuine care to everything she does at Santa Barbara Estate Planning & Elder Law. As a fourth-year UCSB student studying sociology and history of law & public policy, she’s learning the ins and outs of estate planning and probate while assisting our attorneys and paralegals with their daily work.
Before joining our team, Hazel honed her attention to detail and client service skills working in food service and at the spa at the Ritz Carlton Bacara. She also competes as a Division 1 swimmer at UCSB, bringing that same dedication and discipline to her work with our clients.
Around the office, Hazel’s the one who jumps in wherever she’s needed, whether it’s troubleshooting technical issues, reaching out to clients, or lending a hand with marketing campaigns and events. What she loves most about working in estate planning is the opportunity to learn something new every day and connect with clients from all walks of life. “I love speaking to clients on the phone and being able to help them get through hard times,” she says.
When she’s not in the office or hitting the books, you’ll find Hazel in the pool. She’s been swimming her whole life—it’s what brought her to Santa Barbara in the first place—and she competes in backstroke and sprint freestyle for UCSB.
